It's Out With the Red and in With the Updated Kitchen for This Spacious House in Texas

Episode HREIN-506H

Lesa Godfrey is putting her house on the market so she can move to Oklahoma to help take care of her elderly parents. Her house in Fate, Texas sits on a half-acre lot with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The major issues that need to get addressed are the vibrant red paint, the outdated kitchen and the spare bedroom that she turned into a gym. Stager/Designer Cora Sue Anthony proposes to neutralize the paint colors to maintain a cohesive look throughout the house, update the kitchen counter by putting in granite and turning the gym back into the third bedroom. Cora Sue and her team work their magic to bring Lesa's house into a staged home that future homebuyers are going to love. Meanwhile, Realtor Julie Provenzano tours two comparable houses with Lesa to look at the current state of the market and help gauge how much Lesa should really price her home.
